1963 in Freedom California. That's my sis with the beehive and me with the greasy kid's stuff. Grease was very popular before the Beatles came along. Especially in Pomona, where my family moved to about 1956.

My grand dad originally operated an auto court in Pepperwood before moving to this location in Freedom California in the thirties. Photos include my dad, Uncle Harold, Grandma Helen, Grandpa Charlie and my aunts Helen Jean and Grace who were born in Freedom.
