My front porch in Old Town Eureka is known as The Sunny Side. Southern exposure, protected from the wind, it is an ideal place to sit and play old timey tunes and watch the parade go by.

Three Years

It was three years ago today that I made the first post on this blog. Gordon Soderberg had driven the Vetrans For Peace bus, The White Rose, to Has Beans Coffee and I took some pics with my new digital camera. He and the vets left shortly after for a big peace march in Washinton DC and ended up in New Orleans to help with the clean up effort after Hurricane Katrina. A week after this post I started the blog at
