1951 was a very bad year for the fishing community of Monterey Bay. Cannery Row collapsed because the anchovies did not appear as they had every year since time immortal. It became common for folks to order pizza without anchovies. But it was a very good year for me, because that was the year that I was born in Santa Cruz, Ca. on beautiful Monterey Bay. And I don't like anchovies on my pizza anyway.

I like the pic of the guy driving the elephant. He looks like he's having fun. It looks like a lot of work to me.
