Location: Eureka, California, United States

My front porch in Old Town Eureka is known as The Sunny Side. Southern exposure, protected from the wind, it is an ideal place to sit and play old timey tunes and watch the parade go by.

Flatmo's Mural

The mural is beautiful. It was a great day in Old Town. But there was the smell of paint everywhere.

The New You Tube Video Player

What the heck? The video I posted got replaced by a porno video called Sleaze.

I just found a You Tube help discussion group. http://groups.google.com/group/youtube-api

This is pretty cool though. You can see the new player, safely at http://tinyurl.com/yryruw

Doggy Doo Park

If I had the money I would buy Doggy Doo Park and give it as a gift to the people of Eureka. And I would call it Arkley Park in honor of the many gifts that the Arkley's have made to the city. But I don't have the money. Hey, maybe.......

Fred And Joe

The Love Band

These guys are great. Chuck Clark on piano and Al Sousa on harmonica, playing the old standards that I love so much. Al is the father of an old friend of mine from HSU, Dennis. Al's been playing about 70 years, and he really cooks.
